If you remember Fredericksburg's annual Easter fires, you know how much those bunny suits are part of our community's collective history and tradition of neighbor helping neighbor.
Fredericksburg First Friday Food Ministry
The lunches are great, but for me the thing that makes First Friday worth my time and support is that it's involving all the community and helping build bridges between different groups.

Join the 2013 Bunny Brigade

For the past three years, Fredericksburg Food Ministry has worked with local non-profits, including the Needs Council, Meals on Wheels, and area churches to deliver hundreds of Easter boxes and cookie sacks to people in the community. This year, we're planning on making up to 500 Easter boxes filled with handmade, hand-decorated cookies and assorted Easter candies, as well as 350 sacks of decorated cookies. Help us! It's a great project for the entire family and a great way to get connected with people in our community.

Easter is March 31 this year, so we're about to get underway. Join the fun! Sign up link is a the bottom of this page.
